Switching from Sortly

Switching from Sortly? OneAce migrates your items in minutes.

Export your Sortly catalog, import to OneAce, run your first cycle count the same day. No tier-locked features, no per-user surprise bill at year two.

Free for under 100 items. No payment details needed to migrate.

Why teams move from Sortly

Five reasons Sortly users land on OneAce

Each row reflects published Sortly product behavior as of 2026-05-24. We update this when Sortly ships changes.

  • Every feature on every plan

Sortly gates custom reports, multi-user access, and label printing behind higher tiers. OneAce ships the same flow on the Free plan that ships on the Business plan — pricing only affects volume, not capability.

  • Six count methodologies

Cycle, full, spot, blind, double-blind, and directed. Sortly ships a single discrepancy table without methodology choices, blind counts, or per-zone scopes.

  • Approval flow with role gates

Counter, approver, and finance roles enforced per stock count. Sortly lets the same user who counts also commit — no separate approve step.

  • Real multi-warehouse + transfers

Per-warehouse stock levels, transfer + receive + putaway flows, and bin-level counts on every plan. Sortly's location model maps one folder to one item — no transfer ledger.

  • Multi-counter live dashboard

Per-counter progress, per-zone progress, variance preview, and exception queue update in real time. Sortly has no live multi-counter view.

Data mapping

What we migrate from Sortly

Export your CSV from Sortly Settings, hand it to our import wizard, watch the rows map automatically. Manual review for anything ambiguous.

  • Items

OneAce field: Items (with SKU, barcode, cost, price)

One-to-one. The wizard auto-maps SKU and quantity columns.

  • Custom fields

OneAce field: Custom fields (text, number, select)

Type preserved when the Sortly column header carries a hint.

  • Item photos

    OneAce field: Item attachments

Up to the storage cap on your tier. Free tier covers most catalogs.

  • Folders

    OneAce field: Categories (hierarchical)

Sortly's nested folders collapse to a category tree on import.

  • Locations

    OneAce field: Warehouses + bins

Each Sortly location becomes a warehouse. Bin-level locations supported on every plan.

  • Tags

    OneAce field: Departments + labels

Tags map to either departments (cost rollup) or free-form labels.

  • Activity log

OneAce field: Audit log + movement ledger

Past 90 days of Sortly activity import into the read-only history view. Older history archived.

  • Users

    OneAce field: Organization members

Sortly's flat role list maps to OneAce's role + capability matrix. Approvers are explicit.

  • Tier-gated features

OneAce field: All features on every tier

We do not lock features by tier. Pricing changes the volume cap and sync frequency, not capability.

Three steps

Migrate in three steps

  1. 1

    Export your Sortly catalog

From Sortly's Settings page, export your items and folders as CSV plus photos as ZIP. Sortly free and paid plans both ship this export.

  2. 2

    Drop the CSV into OneAce

Open the items import wizard. Map columns once — the wizard remembers your choices for repeat imports. Review the preview before commit.

  3. 3

    Run your first cycle count

Pick a methodology, scope the count to a warehouse or zone, hand the phone to your team. Approve the variance and post the adjustment.

What you keep

Nothing important gets lost

Every workflow you depend on in Sortly has a direct equivalent in OneAce — most are richer.

  • Barcode + QR scanning on every device (camera and keyboard wedge).
  • Mobile-first counting UX designed for the floor, not the back office.
  • Per-item images and attachments — uncapped on Pro and Business.
  • Custom fields with type preservation: text, number, select, multi-select.
